Neugart moves into new building in Shenyang

Business in China is on the rise – local presence is part of Neugart’s philosophy

Gearbox manufacturer Neugart continues its success story in China. Now the company has built and moved into its own production plant in the People’s Republic of China. The multi-million euro investment was a result of the success of recent years.

Construction for the new building began in May 2016 and it is now in full operation. The company continues to follow its philosophical principle of immersing itself in its markets. The new factory has a production area of approximately 5000 square meters and about 70 employees.

Neugart Planetary Gearboxes Co., Ltd., Neugart's Chinese subsidiary, was founded in 2004 in Shenyang. The new factory, also located in Shenyang, is in the Sino-German Industrial Park, a district that is used by many German manufacturing companies including BMW. Neugart is the first company to build in the new park.

The Chinese subsidiary has become quite the success story for Neugart. In addition to the factory in Shenyang, Neugart also has nine sales representatives located throughout China. The past years have been so successful that further expansion was necessary.

“Our aim is to offer our customers the best quality products directly in the local markets. That is why we are focusing on our strength: gearbox technology,” says Bernd Neugart, Managing Partner of Neugart GmbH.
